Man arrested, charged with killing Marietta teacher near Underground Atlanta
An Atlanta man has been charged with murder, among other counts, in connection with the November killing of a beloved Marietta Middle School teacher, according to court documents.

Couple charged in August crash that critically injured child in Richmond County
A Snellville woman and Augusta man were recently charged after a serious crash on Milledgeville Road in August that permanently disabled a young boy. James Bernard Thomas, of Augusta, is charged with felony serious injury by vehicle, felony possession of codeine with intent to distribute, and felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to arrest warrants.
