Motorcyclist killed in Stockton head-on crash, CHP says
A motorcyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in a head-on crash in Stockton on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Tracy office. The crash happened around 5:39 a.m. on Howard Road, west of Undine Road in Stockton, CHP said.Investigators said a gray Acura was driving westbound on Howard Road and a Harley Davidson motorcyclist was driving eastbound on Howard Road. Officials said the Acura went over the double lines into the opposite lane, striking the motorcyclist head-on. The motorcyclist was ejected into a field and they were pronounced dead at the scene, CHP said. Drugs or alcohol are not suspected to be factors in the crashNo arrests have been made and the crash is still under investigation. No other details were released.
