TAYLOR COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) - Two men have been arrested in Taylor County on drug charges.
In a post to Facebook, the Reynolds Police Department says 26-year-old Tyquan Jamal Terry, of Shellman, Georgia, and 36-year-old Raymond Barnes, of Stockbridge, Georgia, were arrested Friday. Their initial charges were connected to a traffic stop for a tag light violation, along with charges for driving on a suspended license, and no insurance.
Officers with the Reynolds Police Department found a black bookbag in the car with a clear bag inside it. The bad had a green, leafy substance that appeared to be marijuana. Investigators later confirmed their suspicion. The weed weighed over 450 grams. There was an additional, smaller bag of marijuana found, along with a scale, empty baggies, eight new cell phones, and cash.
The duo also face multiple drug charges following the bookbag's discovery.
