STILLWATER – Ten Oklahoma State Track & Field/Cross Country athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams, the organization announced Thursday.
 
On the men's side, Alex Maier, Sam Mason, Fouad Messaoudi, Jonas Price and Ryan Schoppe all received Academic All-District honors for their combined academic and athletic prowess. For the Cowgirls, Sivan Auerbach, Heidi Demeo, Bailey Golden, Saara Hakanen and Taylor Roe received the same honors for the 2022-23 seasons.
 
All five Cowgirl honorees were among the key pieces of the women's indoor track & field squad that won the first track & field conference championship in program history this season, combining for 60 of OSU's 146 points overall.
 
The Academic All-District teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom.
 
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 28 (women) and June 29 (men).
