
A motorcyclist was killed this weekend while changing lanes on Interstate 94 in Washington County, the Minnesota State Patrol says.
It happened shortly before 5 p.m. Friday in the Lakeland area, about eight miles south of Stillwater.
According to a State Patrol incident report , the driver lost control of the bike during the lane change and went down an embankment, crashing into a sign and ending up on the St Croix Trail.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Jacob Alexander Boldenow of Woodbury. He was wearing a helmet and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, the incident report says.
The State Patrol says alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
