Man sent to prison for 2020 drug arrest in Olmsted County
ROCHESTER, Minn. – More than four years after his arrest, a man caught with illegal drugs in Olmsted County is sentenced. Jerry Montanez-Figueroa, 39 of Cottage Grove, has been ordered to spend five years and eight months in prison, with credit for 754 days already served. Montanez-Figueroa had been charged in January 2020 with first-degree drug sales, first-degree drug possession, and fifth-degree controlled substance crime. He eventually pleaded guilty to third-degree drug possession.
