Union Parish car crash leaves one dead, one arrested
ROCKY BRANCH, La. (KNOE) - According to Louisiana State Police, one man is dead following a crash that happened on Sunday, May 12 around 10 p.m. An investigation revealed that 45-year-old Tareccos Dismuke of Mississippi was traveling south on LA 143 in a 2016 GMC Sierra while 37-year-old Patrick Hendrix of Marion was traveling north in his 2021 Toyota Corolla. Authorities said Dismuke veered left and hit Hendrix’s vehicle head-on. Dismuke’s vehicle then became disabled and was hit by a 2018 Mazda CX9.
