WATCH: Bear passes through Coventry neighborhood
COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — What appears to be a black bear was caught on camera wandering through a yard in Coventry Thursday night. Josh Dominikoski told 12 News when he got the notification that something was spotted on his outdoor cameras, he assumed it would be a house cat.
Bear sightings on the rise
On Saturday night, Michael and Jessica Keltner said they heard a “big bang” at their Montville home. They thought it might be a tree branch. Jessica on Tuesday said she looked out the bedroom window and saw that an American black bear had knocked over three trash cans and was feasting on multigrain crackers.
