Time Seems To Stand Still Inside This Tennessee Barbecue Institution
Walking into Bozo’s Hot Pit Bar-B-Q feels like entering another era of Tennessee dining. The Mason institution has been serving hungry travelers and local families since 1923, building its reputation on slow-cooked barbecue, family tradition, and warm Southern hospitality. The old-fashioned setting is part of the experience, but the food remains the main attraction.

Grind City Brewing Gives Memphis A New Amphitheatre and Kicks It Off With Great Music
Anyone familiar with Memphis’s Grind City Brewing Company knows that their beers are named for various aspects of the city’s music scene, particularly its soul music legacy, and the brewery has already sponsored music concerts in the past. Barefruit Introduces Arlington to Croughnuts
Everybody knows doughnuts, but what exactly is a croughnut? A new Arlington, Tennessee cafe called Barefruit Cafe can show you better than they can tell you. But basically, as the name suggests, a croughnut is a cross between a croissant and a doughnut. They are sweet like doughnuts, and have all kinds of delicious icings and toppings like doughnuts, but they are also flaky like croissants, and somewhat lighter and more airy than regular doughnuts. They’re delicious, and worth the drive out from Memphis, but those who want to do it should be aware that Barefruit is only open from 7 AM to 4 PM Wednesday through Friday, and 8 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays. In addition to the croughnuts, Barefruit functions also as a locally-owned coffee bar in Arlington, and with the closure of Crave Coffee Bar, they are in fact the only such option in town. The coffee is just as good as the baked goods.
