Rose State College Hosts A Celebration Of Culture Event Saturday

Rose State College will be hosting a Celebrations of Culture event where attendees can enjoy a day filled with activities.

The event will have a statewide college fair with over 25 universities, live music, cultural performances, exhibitors, small business pop-up shops, arts and crafts, and much more.

The event will also feature talent from the community and a vocal contest sponsored by Dr. Tracey Gregg-Boothby.

Visitors can stop by the Minority Pop-Up Shop and learn more about Rose State College and the community organizations that support it.  

Rose State College Diversity and Cultural Affairs Executive Director Monique Bruner said “This is a great opportunity for families to learn about the different cultures in our community while having fun and exploring new opportunities”.

The free event will be held at Rose State College Campus Mall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will have food trucks to satisfy all appetites.
