FORT WALTON BEACH -- Cole Tabb's junior year has been the stuff of legends.
The Choctaw four-star running back was the USA Today Florida 3S Player of the Year after rushing for 2,407 yards and posting 26 touchdowns for the region final qualifying Big Green.
He then captured a state gold as part of the 4x400m relay squad.
Now, about to embark on his senior campaign for a crew steeped in state title hopes, Tabb announced on Twitter Wednesday that he's taking his talents to Stanford.

The four-star running back chooses Stanford over a long list of suitors including Texas A&M, Syracuse and Utah, bringing further clout to the Stanford 2024 class and the recent hire of head coach Troy Taylor after Stanford finished back-to-back with 3-9 seasons.
Now Stanford has landed a star for the future, a back that bounces off tackles, makes linebackers miss and has second-level speed.
