Police identify man killed in Stamford parking garage crash
Police say the driver was traveling northbound on Houston Terrace when he crossed all lanes of traffic, entered the property and hit the support column at East Main Street.

6h agoPolice have identified a man who was killed after hitting a parking garage column in Stamford late Friday night.
Police say Hector Ricardo Rivera-Salazar, 47, was traveling northbound on Houston Terrace when he crossed all lanes of traffic, entered the property and hit the support column at 1266 East Main St.
It happened at 11:45 p.m.
Salazar, of Stamford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was heavily damaged.
