State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash about 4pm Wednesday afternoon that resulted in a fatality on Route 3 near Chummy Lane in King George County. Authorities say a 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by 73-year old Michael McMahan of Colonial Beach was traveling eastbound on Route 3 when it crossed the centerline into westbound traffic striking a trash truck.
