Green Bay Packers 2024 Record Prediction

The 2024 NFL season is just weeks away which means that it is time to make some record predictions! Today’s article will focus on the Green Bay Packers, members of the National Football Conference (NFC) North. The Packers are eager to kick off their 104th season on September 7th as they open up the season in Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles on primetime Friday night. How many games will Green Bay win in 2024?

Last Season Recap

The Green Bay Packers expected to enter a rebuild following the departure of Aaron Rodgers, especially with the unknown Jordan Love taking over at quarterback. Fortunately, that rebuild lasted mere weeks as Love shined throughout the season putting himself up there with the top passers in the NFL.

After a 2-5 start to the season, the Packers bounced back and went 6-3 down the stretch of the season earning key victories over the division winner Detroit Lions, Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, and closed the season with two wins over division rivals Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears.

In the playoffs, the Green Bay Packers went on the road and demolished the Dallas Cowboys in the first-ever 7th seed upset in NFL history. In the Divisional Round, the Packers appeared to be very close to yet another NFC Championship Game appearance. Due to a missed field goal in the fourth quarter, the team missed out on a chance to play the next week with a Super Bowl appearance on the line and will be eager to go further again in 2024. All eyes are on Love again as he enters the season as the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.

Off-Season Recap

During the off-season, Green Bay swapped fan-favorite running back Aaron Jones with 2022 NFL rushing leader Josh Jacobs. The Packers also improved their weakest position at safety with Giants star Xavier McKinney (FA) and Georgia stud Javon Bullard (NFL Draft) and prioritized offensive line in the first-round of the draft with Arizona tackle Jordan Morgan.

Record Prediction

While the Packers 2024 schedule isn’t a walk in the park, the green and gold have proven they can compete with any team in the NFL. With victories over the Colts, 49ers and Dolphins, the team can prove they are playoff-ready once again. Green Bay also has a nice end to the season with matchups against the Seahawks, Saints, Vikings and Bears. All four teams missed the playoffs last season. There is no reason that if fully healthy that the Green Bay Packers cannot win 11 games in 2024 and compete for the NFC North title.
