SBSO investigating multiple overnight car thefts
SAINT BERNARD, La. — The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of car thefts around midnight on Tuesday. The sheriff's office says that there was a total of seven cars stolen from residences on Despaux Drive in Chalmette, Nancy and Fable Drive in Meraux and Moss Lane in Violet.

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. — A man was killed riding his bike on Tuesday afternoon in St. Bernard Parish on LA 46 near Port ship Access Road No1. Police said the crash happened around 4 p.m. when a 2006 Mack dump truck hit and killed 25-year-old Joshua J. Chestnut. Officers said the truck was traveling east on LA 46, at the same time Chestnut turned into the eastbound lane and collided with the truck.
