Springville woman charged with trafficking meth

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 28-year-old Springville woman was arrested Monday morning after Erie County Sheriff's Deputies stopped her on Route 20 in Brant.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office says the arrest was made following a uniformed traffic stop by deputies of a vehicle operated by Sierra Frazier.

Search warrants signed by Judge Kenneth Case were executed on Frazier and the vehicle. The search discovered approximately 38 ounces of crystal methamphetamine and an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.

Frazier was arrested and charged with the following:

- One felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
- One felony count of criminal possession of a stimulant with intent to sell.
- Two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

The defendant is being held at the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment.
