Springfield, Republic women die in separate Greene County vehicle crashes

Two women reportedly died in separate vehicle crashes last week in Greene County. Their identities have since been released by investigating police agencies.

Springfield resident Rhiannon Sutton, 41, was driving a 1991 Honda Accord southbound on Farm Road 97 west of Willard around 4:30 p.m. June 4 when Missouri State Highway Patrol said she pulled in front of a westbound 2014 F-150 on Route EE.

Sutton, the lone occupant of her vehicle, died at a local hospital. The patrol report said she was not wearing a seatbelt. The three occupants of the F-150 sustained minor injuries.

A GoFundMe page was recently created for the family of Sutton, a mother of three.

KY3 reported Monday that Republic resident Lori Durham, 34, died near West Farm Road 156 and Sawyer Road after her vehicle reportedly collided with a garbage truck June 4. No other details were provided by the TV station, which cited the Republic Police Department.
