Interested in seeing Springfield and the metropolitan area prosper across the future? Care about the public, civic, social and communal obligations that those living in a community bear with each other? Then the next Citizens Club Policy Breakfast at the Hoogland Center for the Arts Club Room – on the third floor – is an absolute must for you and even your business or associated organization this Friday morning!

The Citizens Club of Springfield is dedicated to furthering the Springfield metropolitan area through public and civic innovation, cooperation and mutuality – and those speaking at this particular breakfast are important and insightful individuals from and of the community.

Chris Richmond of Moving Pilsbury Forward will be on the panel for this breakfast, as well as Assistant United States Attorney John D. Hoelzer and founder of ICON and Moving Pilsbury Forward Board Member Polly Poskin.

This breakfast’s discussion will center around the Pillsbury Mills Site, the social and environmental aspects of the community and area and the rehabilitation and investment in the area and neighborhood.

Pillsbury backstory will be given, a question-and-answer segment will exist, and other social, environmental and social justice issues will be elaborated upon; the 7:30 am coffee reception will be succeeded by the 8:00 am program that will stretch for just an hour!

For more information on how to join, or how to quickly pay your $30 dues – or those of your company or organization – the Citizens Club of Springfield can be emailed at citizensclubofspringfield@gmail.com!
