A small side street on Springfield’s west side is now closed until September for bridge replacement.
Crews shut down Churchill Road, just off of West Jefferson, on Tuesday for tree removal. Once that’s done, workers will move right into the bridge replacement work.
That will keep the road closed to thru traffic until the first week of September
