SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Public Schools will consider joining a host of others around Washington suing social media companies like Facebook, TikTok and YouTube over mental health impacts to students.

The SPS Board is looking to approve a resolution that would allow their participation in an active mass-action lawsuit alleging their major role in increased levels of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorders and suicide in youth.
