Spokane police investigating deadly pedestrian collision on Division St. downtown

The roadway reopened after Division St., between 2nd Avenue and Sprague, was blocked for a few hours on Friday.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A person died after being hit by a car on Division Street in downtown Spokane Friday night. 

Spokane police (SPD) said the roadway reopened after Division St., between 2nd Avenue and Sprague, was blocked for a few hours on Friday. 

The victim was taken to the hospital but eventually succumbed to their injuries. Major Crimes units responded to the scene.
