March Madness 2023 rolls on with the Elite Eight as No. 3 seed Gonzaga and No. 4 seed UConn go head-to-head at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Saturday (March 25) for the right to advance to the Final Four.

The game will be televised on TBS at 8:49 p.m. ET/5:49 p.m. PT.

Gonzaga (31-5) erased a 13-point deficit to knock off No. 2 seed UCLA on Thursday in a thrilling 79-76 battle thanks to an incredible shot from Julian Strawther with just 7.2 seconds left on the clock that ultimately propelled the Bulldogs to the Elite Eight.

While Strawther played the hero, it was Drew Timme who once again shouldered the load for the Zags for most of the game. The senior All-American finished with a game-high 36 points on 16 of 24 shooting from the field while also pulling in 13 rebounds, dishing out four assists, and blocking a pair of shots.

Timme's 36 points tied Brandon Clarke's record for the most points by a Gonzaga player in an NCAA Tournament game.

UConn (28-8) had a much less stressful matchup than Gonzaga as the Huskies cruised to an 88-65 win over 8th-seeded Arkansas earlier in the night. Jordan Hawkins led the way with a game-high 24 points but he was just one of four UConn players to reach double figures.

Gonzaga and UConn have faced off just three times prior to this game but this will be their first time meeting in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs own a 2-1 advantage in the series including a 73-70 victory when the two teams last played in the Bahamas in 2015.
