Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in downtown Spokane on Thursday morning. The two suspects were in a room at the Catholic Charities apartments. Police and the SWAT team eventually made entry into the apartment, but the suspects were not there.

POST FALLS, Idaho — The Post Falls Police Department (PFPD) is investigating a suspected home invasion that resulted in the shooting of a teenage boy and a 49-year-old man. According to the police, it is believed that the resident of a home in Post Falls shot the 49-year-old man and the 15-year-old boy during what appeared to be a home invasion on Monday night. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed by the police, is currently hospitalized with serious injuries, while the teen's injuries are non-life-threatening.

Two adults and three juveniles were arrested after stealing approximately $3,000 worth of hospital equipment, which has since been returned. The two adults, 20-year-old Donavan Hoffman and 21-year-old Malachi Beach of Spokane Valley, have been booked into the Spokane County Jail on second-degree burglary and second-degree theft charges.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — An 83-year-old Coeur d'Alene man was killed Sunday after he collided with a suspected drunk driver and rolled down a ravine. The man was driving up the Fernan Grade when he was hit head-on by Mark Bruzas, a Spokane Valley man. The victim rolled nearly 400 feet down the ravine and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say Bruzas showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for vehicular homicide, a felony.

They have dozens of reporters who have backgrounds as firefighters, dispatchers and first responders.
