Dry conditions with breezy winds before weather changes end the work week
Above average temperatures from our Tuesday will continue into our Wednesday, but a breeze will pick up as a dry cold-front pushes through. Daytime highs in Spokane this afternoon will reach the mid 60s with overnight lows falling to the low 40s. Winds are calm this morning but will pick up near 15 mph sustained with the potential of 20 mph gusts.

Living room fire in Deer Park could leave at least 2 people displaced
DEER PARK, Wash. — At least two people may be displaced after a house fire in Deer Park. Spokane County Fire District 4 (SCFD4) confirmed the fire started near the 1200 block of East Slaton Road on April 23. When crews arrived, they confirmed the living room was fully engulfed, and two people had evacuated.
Ramen Fest back at Spokane Buddhist Temple
The Spokane Buddhist Temple is hosting its 37th Ramen Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The traditional Japanese recipe ramen ($15) can be ordered with pork/chicken broth and chicken meat or with vegetarian miso-based broth and tofu. The ramen broth takes six days to make and is full of noodles and topped with vegetables. Mochi desserts and inari sushi is also available for $8.
