The National Park Service is asking for help identifying a car involved in a deadly hit-and-run along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Authorities said at about 6 a.m. Tuesday, a man was found dead on the road near milepost 221 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. NPS Law Enforcement Rangers confirmed the body to be that of Brandon Lee Wagoner, 33 years old, of Sparta, North Carolina. The on-scene investigation revealed that Wagoner was struck by a vehicle.
