SPARTA — The Sparta Police Department has released a report.
A 36-year-old Maplewood, Missouri man was arrested Saturday morning following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of S. St. Louis Street in Sparta.
Police say Christopher Smith was taken into custody with the aid of the Sparta Police K9.
Smith was charged with armed violence, methamphetamine delivery over 15g, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm without a FOID card, possession of morphine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, driving while license revoked, and no insurance.
