Boone Central's Lipker leaps his way to second place
OMAHA — Boone Central’s Jaxon Lipker pumped his fists, falling deftly on the landing pad after clearing a height of 6 feet, 8 inches in the high jump. Although Lipker couldn’t manage to clear the next height of 6-10, his efforts earned him a second-place finish in the event at the Class B state track and field championships at Omaha Burke Stadium on Wednesday.
