INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Tonight at 6 p.m. a portion of the temporary ramp from southbound S.R. 37 to Southport Road will be closed. The closure will be implemented south of Banta Road to allow for the construction of new, more direct access to Southport Road from S.R. 37.
Upon exiting southbound S.R. 37 at the current temporary ramp, traffic wishing to access Southport Road will need to go east on Banta Road to S. Harding Street, or west on Banta Road to S. Belmont Avenue, and then proceed to Southport Road.
The closure is needed to tie in and pave the new temporary ramp from southbound S.R. 37 to Southport Road, which is anticipated to open up on Sunday night.
