Authorities identify man struck, killed by TRAX train at Millcreek Station
SOUTH SALT LAKE — Officials have identified the man who died at a hospital after getting struck by a TRAX train in South Salt Lake on Thursday night. UTA spokesman Carl Arky said Edgar Juarez-Santana, 23, was struck by a northbound Blue Line train at 2950 S. 200 West just after it left the Millcreek Station about 8:39 p.m. It is unknown why the man was on the tracks.
One person dead in I-80 crash involving 2 semitrucks
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Highway Patrol says one person has died following a crash on eastbound Interstate 80, involving two semitrucks. The incident occurred in the area of milepost 191 in Summit County. The UHP said a semi with a “box trailer” was going slow up a hill. It was rear-ended by another semi pulling two trailers.

SALT LAKE CITY — A man who was arrested for drug charges on Wednesday was also arrested on similar charges in February, according to court documents. MURRAY— Two men are facing federal charges accusing them of trying to carjack a woman in a Murray fitness center parking lot and ending up involved in a shootout. Federal indictments were unsealed Thursday against Lt Col Siamelie Nick Mila, 20, and Maddyn Dean Christiansen, both of Salt Lake County.
