South Haven Lighthouse gets fresh coat of paint before busy tourism season

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. —
The lighthouse located at the west end of South Beach received a fresh coat of paint Tuesday.

Crews from the Historical Association of South Haven, or HASH, gathered their supplies and began work early Tuesday morning.

The interior and exterior of the lighthouse was fully remodeled in 2016 following a $300,000 restoration campaign.
A full 360 degree live camera captured the workers repainting the lighthouse.
