Stolen vehicle: Warrensville Center Road

At 11:47 p.m. March 18, a Youngstown resident reported that her vehicle was stolen from Walgreens by a younger male suspect who was carrying two backpacks.

She had left it running with the keys in it while she was inside the store.

Around 1:20 a.m. the following morning, the state highway patrol stopped the vehicle in Medina and arrested the male driver.

Theft: Warrensville Center Road

A Pennsylvania man, who was renting an apartment in the city while working, reported March 13 that a license plate was stolen from his vehicle.

He could not confirm where or when it had been stolen.

Fraud: Linnell Road

A resident said March 14 that he received a check for $530 from the unemployment office despite not having applied for benefits.

Disturbance: Telhurst Road

Officers responded to a home March 15 for a report of a disturbance involving a woman and her two adult sons.

They learned that one was preventing the other from leaving for work by blocking him from exiting the home. That man was pushed by the other man.

Nobody wished to pursue the matter.

Theft: Warrensville Center Road

A Maple Heights man, 33, and a Cleveland man, 20, were cited for theft at Walmart March 15 and trespassed from the store.

The total value of the theft was $626.
