South Bend Police say they have arrested a man for a homicide that occurred in April.

The Violent Crimes Unit arrested 23-year-old Keith Hardy on Tuesday morning in the death of 25-year-old Marlon Hudson on Phillipa Street on April 12th.

In April, police responded to a shooting with multiple victims. According to investigators, 23-year-old Keith Hardy shot Marlon Hudson and a second person from the other side of the street. Someone with Hudson returned fire, striking a third person.

Hudson died at the scene from his injuries, and the two other shooting victims were taken to the hospital.

Hardy is being held at the St. Joseph County Jail.

Hardy was charged with murder a week after the killing but hadn't been found until Tuesday morning.
