A SWAT situation in South Bend ends with police still looking for a suspect.
South Bend Police say they were called to the 700 block of Philippa Street a little before 7:00.
SWAT showed up about an hour later.
Our crew on scene did see tear gas was deployed, but officers tell WSBT the person they were looking for was not in the house.
Police say they are continuing their investigation.

St. Joseph County dispatch confirms there is a SWAT team on scene on Philippa Street in South Bend.
South Bend Police are on scene as well. Police arrived around 6:30 p.m.
Police ask those nearby to avoid the area, and for those who live nearby to stay in their homes.
