If it’s so popular why is it permanently closing ? I haven’t heard of this bar / restaurant called Render. I had to Google it to find out where it’s located.

I can’t help but wonder if part of the reason is a loss of business related to the legalization in MI of
marijuana replacing drinks. I live near the state line in another city and I have noticed so many high people on the streets, and I can smell inside cars with the windows rolled up. (Air circulated and some is released from cars when A/C, heat, or defrost is on.
I’m an RN. MJ for medicinal reasons is NOT smoked, it taken in another manner (through a water apparatus) so I want the police (and consumers) to know the difference. I have requested from MI that drivers license or state ID’s be required and Indiana residents be denied sales but I guess they have ignored my warning and pleas.
Marijuana IS dangerous to take unless you know which 244 prescription medications it should NOT be used when taking gummies, AND research the OTC (over the counter) drugs, as well. Please, do your research before using it. It is NOT a harmless drug by any means, friends. Make sure if you use it YOU are using safely, and please keep it out of reach of children, esp. if they take ADD/ADHD medication.

I completely agree with all of this especially about the liquor. Weed leads to criminal activity. Even having a roach in your pocket will get you probation. The more people we keep off the streets, the more that will receive the medical care they need in jail.

I’m a firm believer in the power of the liquor. It’s about keeping that sweet spot. I’m sober enough to know what I’m doing, and drunk enough to have a good time doing it. Cheers to your health!
