Notre Dame Set To Host Several Important 2024 And 2025 Recruits This Weekend

Several key Notre Dame recruits set for campus visit over the next couple of days

With spring practice starting and the dead period over, Notre Dame certainly has things ramped up. Notre Dame kicked off spring practice on Wednesday, and this weekend the Irish are hosting a number of talented recruits in the 2024 and 2025 classes.

Here are the players who will be taking in spring practice over the next couple of days.

MARCH 24TH VISITORS

On the 24th, there are some key 2024 recruits who are set to be on campus.

The Irish staff is ready to welcome Katy (Texas) Paetow pass rusher Loghan Thomas to campus for the first time. Thomas is a twitched up defensive end who brings nice upside to the Vyper position. The staff likes him a lot and will need to make an impact during this visit. Thomas is set to be on campus all weekend which should be a huge bonus for the staff. The Paetown edge rusher is the No. 135 overall player and No. 11 edge player in the nation according to 247Sports.

Another interesting 2024 recruit that is worth keeping an eye on is Roswell (Ga.) High School offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp, who is someone that Joe Rudolph was recruiting while he was a part of the Virginia Tech staff. It will be interesting to see if Notre Dame makes a run at Knapp.

Here are the 2024 recruits expected on campus Friday.

If anybody missed last week’s Pot of Gold offer extravaganza, the Notre Dame program was busy offering nearly 90 players from the 2025 recruiting class. The Irish staff is expecting four players on campus who were just offered. Three of those recruits, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep wide receiver Cooper Perry, Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines linebacker Landon McComber and Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy cornerback Kevyn Humes are all planning on staying both Friday and Saturday.

MARCH 25TH VISITORS

There are several key Irish targets who are set to make their way to campus on Saturday. Arguably the top target who will be in attendance is Chicago (Ill.) St. Ignatius defensive tackle Justin Scott. There is no excuse for Notre Dame to not close on the 6-5, 310-pound five-star recruit. The Irish staff must make an impact this weekend and hope to build momentum back up since he slowed down his recruitment a couple of months ago.

Peculiar (Mo.) Raymore star tight end Jaden Reddell has quickly risen right near the top of the tight end board for Notre Dame. The plan is to take a second recruit to go along with commit Jack Larsen, in hopes of creating an imposing tandem. Reddell at 6-4 and 225 pounds can bring a lot of alignment versatility to an offense, along with big play potential. Notre Dame seems to be in a good place heading into the visit.

Sticking in Missouri, Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive tackle Andrew Sprague is also making the trip to South Bend. The 6-8, 270-pound standout brings an appealing profile to the table. There is interest on both sides but this visit will be able to tell a lot just about how much the staff could potentially push.

Jacksonville (Fl.) Mandarin cornerback Jon Mitchell looks like he could be the missing piece for the cornerback group in the 2024 recruiting class. The program has already received commitments from Texas standout Leonard Moore and Ohio native Karson Hobbs, leaving one potential spot to create a dynamic three-man class. Mitchell is right at the top of the remaining cornerback board.

Another first timer on campus is Clearwater (Fl.) Academy International defensive tackle Sean Sevillano, who is still very new to the board. The 6-2, 300-pound defensive lineman is a space eater with a ton of upper body strength. This visit will be important to make up for lost time.

Notre Dame fans should also keep a close eye on Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School cornerback Marcellus Barnes, who does not currently hold an offer from the Irish. The staff is, however, keeping close tabs on him. Seeing him in person could be a big indication to whether they should pursue the Tennessee standout.

Here are the 2024 recruits expected on campus Saturday.

Like the Friday list, Notre Dame is set to host seven top 2025 recruits for spring practice. All seven players were offered during Pot of Gold. Each player could end up being a priority for Notre Dame if they continue to develop well.

Here are the 2025 recruits expected on campus Saturday.

QB Cutter Boley - Lexington (Ky.) Christian Academy
WR Talyn Taylor - Geneva (Ill.) Community
WR Jaime Ffrench - Jacksonville (Fl.) Mandarin
TE James Flanigan - Green Bay (Wisc.) Notre Dame De La Baie Academy
DE Christopher Burgess - Chicago (Ill.) Simeon
LB Dominik Hulak - Elmhurst (Ill.) Immaculate Conception
S Jordan Young - Monroe (N.C.) HS

All seven of these 2025 prospects are high on the Notre Dame board. Keep an eye on Illinois standouts Taylor and Burgess.

SIGNEES ON CAMPUS

It’s always nice when Notre Dame signees make it back to campus. Individually, it is great for each one of them to get back around the team and coaches. It is also a big boost, and helps, in recruiting. Committed players can almost become a hidden weapon of sorts during these types of events.

Here are the Irish commits expected on Campus Saturday.

RB Aneyas Williams - Hannibal (Mo.) HS (2025)
OT Charles Jagusah - Rock Island (Ill.) Alleman (2024)
CB Micah Bell - Houston (Texas) Kincaid School (2024)
