Notre Dame Makes Top 10 For Missouri Offensive Tackle Andrew Sprague
The Notre Dame 2024 offensive line board was in a good spot when Joe Rudolph took over as the offensive line coach following Harry Hiestand’s retirement. The Irish staff received good news on Thursday when they were included in the top ten schools list for talented Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive tackle Andrew Sprague.
The Irish were joined by Michigan, LSU, USC, Penn State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri and Stanford.
The 6-8, 270-pound Missouri product is considered a consensus four-star recruit across every major recruiting platform. He ranks highest on the 247Sports ranking, currently sitting as the No. 133 overall player and No. offensive tackle in the 2024 recruiting class. With his consistent ranking across the board, Sprague comes in as the No. 135 overall player and No. 9 offensive tackle in the class on the On3 industry ranking.
Aside from his top ten schools, Sprague has also heard from several high caliber programs. Some of his other notable offers include Wisconsin, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas State, Iowa State, Minnesota, Illinois, Baylor, Kentucky, Kansas, Northwestern, Duke, Boston College and Vanderbilt among others.
Notre Dame has already gotten a commitment from Pennsylvania standout Peter Jones, who was a great early get. They need to fill out the class with a couple of talented offensive tackles to go along with Jones.
Sprague would also be another massive get from the state of Missouri. It is a state that the Irish staff has prioritized recently.
