Local Volleyball Team Nets Big Achievement

Reno, CA — The Tuolumne County Girls Elite Volleyball team took first place at the Power League/NCVA volleyball tournament in Reno, Nevada.

The event was held over the weekend and they defeated teams from across Central and Southern California. The team represented Tuolumne County and is made up of Sonora High students. One of the supporters said, “They earned this victory by playing hard and showing teams from all over the nation how tough our Mountain girls are.”

The team is comprised of Adyson Kroeze, Rylee Alberto, Marley Keegan, Sofia Abarca, Bella Haines, Ashlyn Lopez, Ella Kaiser, Macy Bautista, Taylor Allen, Addie Bryant, and Dixie Nessl

The head coach is Molly Soulier and the Assistant Coach is Tanya Johnson Allen.
