The Soldotna Stars will be playing at home against the Kenai Central Kardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory. Soldotna is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Homer, who was ranked 21st in their home state at the time (Soldotna was ranked seventh). Soldotna Girl Scouts’ ‘bucket trees’ help keep campfires from becoming wildfires
Earlier this month, Girl Scouts from Soldotna-based Troop 210 were recognized for an advancement in the area of campfire safety. Kenai River Sportfishing Association, known as KRSA (pronounced Kersa) was founded in 1984 primarily to fight for the conservation of the world famous Kenai River king salmon stock.
