Victim identified in fatal motorcycle crash in Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle. Just before 5:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to the area of S. Salisbury Boulevard and Pinehurst Avenue, finding a crash involving a motorcycle and van. The initial investigation revealed that the victim, 22-year-old Ethan Smith, was operating a 2003 Suzuki GSX motorcycle northbound on S. Salisbury Boulevard at a high rate of speed. Police say a 2020 Ford Transit van was making a left turn from southbound S. Salisbury Boulevard into a parking lot when it collided with the motorcycle.
