Driver injured after attempt to avoid deer causes SUV to fly, burst into flames
EDWARDSVILLE, Kan. (KCTV) - One driver was injured after a deer jumped onto a Kansas City metro interstate and caused an SUV to swerve, go airborne and burst into flames. The Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log indicates that around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, emergency crews were called to the area of northbound I-435 and K-32 in Edwardsville with reports of a single-vehicle collision.
