Ohio man dies in two-vehicle crash

A man in Ohio has died after a two vehicle crash.

The Ohio State Police say the crash happened SR-150 near milepost 8 in Warren Township, Jefferson County.

State Police say John Lewis II, 38-years-old from Dillionville, Ohio was operating a 2012 Hyundai Accent westbound on SR 150 when he drove left of center striking a 2018 Jeop Wrangler which was traveling eastbound.

According to state police, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler was operated by Joseph Manbock, age 37, of Smithfield, Ohio. Manbock was driving a juvenile in the passenger seat.

Manbock and the juvenile were Trinity West Hospital by Tiltonsville EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Dillonvale Fire and EMS, Mt. Pleasant Fire and EMS and Tiltonsville Fire and EMS.
