2nd arrest made in Slingerlands robbery investigation

SLINGLERLANDS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Bethlehem Police Department has made a second arrest in the Slingerlands robbery investigation that took place in December. Majid Godje, 24, of Jersey City, New Jersey, was arrested in New Jersey on Monday.

Charges

  • First-degree robbery
  • First-degree criminal use of a firearm
  • Second-degree robbery
  • Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
  • Third-degree grand larceny
  • Fourth-degree conspiracy
  • First-degree unlawful imprisonment
  • Second-degree menacing

This arrest follows the arrest of Ronaldo Alcazar , 25, of Queens, who was also a suspect in the robbery. Alcazar and Godje allegedly displayed a firearm and forcibly stole jewelry from a victim on December 27 at 125 Vista Blvd.

NYSP arrests Troy woman for drug possession

Godje was arraigned and placed in Albany County Correctional Facility without bail. He will return to court on May 7.
