One person killed in crash near Slinger, Wisconsin

One person was killed in a crash on Highway 60 at I-41 near Slinger in Washington County Friday morning.

The Wisconsin State Patrol reports a car exited southbound I-41 and was making a left turn onto eastbound Highway 60. The car pulled in front of a truck and was hit.

A 42-year-old Cudahy man was standing on the median at the intersection conducting surveying work and was struck during the crash. The pedestrian died on the scene.

The car was being driven by a 66-year-old man from South Milwaukee. A 30-year-old man from Slinger was driving the truck.

Highway 60 was closed for about 7 hours after the crash. The Wisconsin State Patrol is continuing its investigation.
