Convicted killer Coley McCraney believes he’ll be released from prison
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Coley McCraney stuck by his claim that someone else killed two Dothan teens during a 20/20 episode that aired Friday on ABC. A jury in Ozark convicted the truck driver and ordained minister last year, rejecting his claims that the reason his DNA linked him to the shootings was because he had consensual sex with J.B. Beasley, one of two 17-year-olds killed in 1999.

Man dies in Pike County crash
PIKE COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - A Louisville man is dead following a crash on Alabama 130, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says. James Otis McCray, 66, was killed just before 7 a.m. Thursday morning, about six miles east of Banks city, when his vehicle left the roadway, hit a traffic sign, overturned, and fell into a river. He was not using a seat belt at the time.
