Police have identified the 75-year-old pedestrian that was killed in a crash along Columbia Pike.
All lanes were closed on Columbia Pike (US-29) at Stewart Lane after Teklu Bushen Siba of Silver Spring was fatally struck by a vehicle around 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 16, according to Montgomery County Police.
The driver of the striking vehicle stayed after the collision, and Siba was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Lanes were closed for several hours following the collision.
