'Lounging Bear' Becomes Regular On California Resident's Property: VIDEO

One California bear has had enough of the 9 to 5 grind and he's not afraid to show it . The young brown bear in question is ready to retire and has found the perfect spot!

According to KTLA , the bear was spotted lounging on his back behind a woman's house in Sierra Madre, but that's not all. The animal, who possess a keen ability to lay low, was seen lounging in the same spot for multiple days in a row. Annie Slater , the owner of the property, mentioned that she sees the chill bear lounging in the sun near a tree in the foothills behind her home every single day.

Video footage obtained by KTLA shows the basking bear in all his lounging glory , lying in the mud grooming him self with his belly up. The bear, clearly honing in on a healthy work-life balance mindset, seems to be minding his own business.

KTLA 's Chris Schauble made light of the situation joking, "You can almost hear the bear saying 'just the bear necessities the simple bear necessities.'" A tall metal fence separates the bear from being able to enter Slater's backyard. Bear experts across the state are urging homeowners to " keep pet food inside and trash locked up" as it is not uncommon for bears to wonder into various neighborhoods now that hibernation is over.
