A host of emergency responders descended on the site of an early Tuesday morning fire in rural Sheboygan County, but not before the blaze caused severe damage.
An emergency call came in at 2:13 a.m. from a home on Meadowlark Road around a half mile south of County Highway “J”. The Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department was quickly joined by a dozen more agencies to fight what started as a garage fire. That structure became fully engulfed in flames, destroying the garage, with fire then spreading to the northwest side of the residence which suffered severe damage before the fire was extinguished.
All residents made it out and there were no injuries to either them or firefighters during the incident…the cause of that fire remains under investigation.
