HOWELL COUNTY, Mo. – Police in Wisconsin arrested a man in connection with stolen Missouri cattle in August of last year, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

27-year-old Jordan Leisgang, of Seymour, Wis., was taken into custody on July 25.

In August 2023, a resident in Howell County helped Leisgang purchase and transport 450 cattle from Arkansas to Wisconsin. According to a release, Leisgang refused to pay the victim for the cattle and blocked communication going forward.

Nearly a year later, on July 17, the grand jury in Howell County charged Leisgang for receiving stolen property. Eight days later, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin arrested him.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol states that Leisgang is awaiting extradition to Missouri and will be held on a $100,000 bond.
