Illinois murder suspect arrested in Alabama
A man is being held in the Madison County Jail awaiting extradition after his arrest Sunday in connection with a murder investigation in Illinois. Chief Jeff J. Ramsey of the East Moline (Ill.) police said police were called to a reported shooting on Saturday at 11:44 p.m. at an apartment complex in the city, which lies at the joining of the Rock and Mississippi rivers, near Iowa.
