Man steals 19 pieces of jewelry from store

Selinsgrove, Pa. — State police charged a Hanover man for a jewelry heist at the Selinsgrove Walmart store.

The 42-year-old man, who police did not name in their report, went to the store located at N. Susquehanna Trail late in the evening on Sept. 15. State police at Selinsgrove say he managed to take 19 pieces of jewelry worth $1,678 and left the store. Pieces he stole included a necklace valued at $196 and a chain necklace valued at $98.

Charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property were filed at the office of District Judge Scott A. Zeigler.
